Gurugram, 24th Sept 2020: In order to
strengthen the bond between the Parents-to-be and the baby in womb, CK Birla
Hospital for Women organised an interactive spiritual session today. Over 100
pregnant women attended the session that highlighted upon the fetal psychology
and the need for prenatal bonding.
Present on the occasion were hon’ble Chief guest
and spiritual speaker BK Sister Shivani among other dignitaries, who emphasized
upon the need for positive thinking among pregnant women. While stress and
anxiety takes a toll on everyone’s health, maternal stress is one vital factor
that affects the infant development in the womb.
“As a
physical diet is important for the infant, emotional diet of the mother and the
surrounding is equally receptive by them. Even though the hearing capacity
develops after 24 weeks of gestation, the soul of the infant arrives soon after
6 weeks and is capable of attracting universal vibrations along with the
thought process of the mother. It is thus important for the parents to cultivate
positive thoughts and groom good culture since pregnancy.†Said Sister Shivani.
The major factors for rise in stress and anxiety
levels among pregnant working women can be attributed to the busy corporate
culture, hormonal changes happening in the body, emotional trauma, mood swings
etc. As this may have an impact on the brain development of the infant in the
womb, understanding emotional well-being is as important as physical health.
With such an aim to assist the pregnant women for healthy delivery and well
being, the hospital had organised the third annual spiritual session by Sister
Shivani.
This is a unique step taken by the hospital in the
region to educate parents about spiritual connection and well being along with
complete medical care. The exclusive Mother and Child care at CK Birla Hospital
for Women is one of the leading service providers of complete care from
pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy, delivery and post natal care. Infact this is
the only hospital in India to provide painless and normal deliveries through
water birthing techniques till now.
“Through this initiative we would like to create
awareness among the parents to be that it is of utmost importance for them to
talk about this. Since inception, the hospital has been conducting such
motivating sessions for mother and child care and more than 1500 parents have
been benefitted. Our comprehensive team always strives towards providing the
complete connect – physical, emotional and medical care to all.†Added Hospital spokesperson
