 CEO Narendra Bhushan unveiled the regions first statue and chowk dedicated to Corona Warriors

Noida, 22nd February 2021: Honoring the selfless sacrifice done by all the healthcare workers amid the pandemic, Yatharth Super Specialty Hospital, Greater Noida unveiled the first of its kind Corona Warriors chowk with Doctors statue at Hanuman Mandir Chowk, Noida Extension today.

Taking over a month for completion of the 15 Feet tall Statue portrays two doctors with surgical gloves and face masks on. Further the area is expected to be known as Corona Warrior Chowk. 

COVID warriors are an eternal memory for the nation, and to make their role a further special one, their statues looking up into the sky will be a will be a symbolic indication of the dedication each and every healthcare worker has put in. Being situated amid the heart of the region, the great work doctors have done in the COVID Era will be remembered every time a person passes by. 

The inauguration was done in the presence of Shri Narendra Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Greater Noida Industrial Development Area (GNIDA) and Dr Deepak Ohri, Chief Medical Officer, Gautam Budh Nagar. 

“The complete medical fraternity had been curtailing the fear in their mind due to their professional responsibility at forefront throughout this war against the pandemic. Fighting against an unknown disease, the ones on the frontline doctors and healthcare workers have been working excruciatingly hard for the welfare of the nation. But since the Vaccination drive becoming a success recently, is the most satisfying part of the hardships they have been through. We feel pride in being in a position to make a difference through their efforts and must embrace that.” Said Dr Kapil Tyagi, Managing Director, Yatharth Group of Hospitals.

The statue unveiling ceremony was followed by felicitation program for the Corona warriors and COVID film presentation inside the hospital premises. Role of the medical fraternity was also emphasized in the speech given by the Chief Guest and guest of honors. 

“This is a simple gesture of gratitude shown against the immense, tireless and matchless efforts put in by all the Corona Warriors. Our journey throughout the pandemic is suggestive enough about the efforts, our frontline warriors have put in to fight against this pandemic. Doctors, nurses, Paramedical staff and all associated healthcare workers who, knowingly have been putting their lives at risk for the control of the disease are no less than demi-gods.” Said Yatharth Tyagi, Director, Yatharth Group of Hospitals.
